Applications are now open for the first AQUARIUS Transnational Access Funding Call offering a total of €8.1 million to support scientific projects to access world-class research infrastructures for their marine and freshwater research!
Open from 11 November 2024 until midnight on 20 January 2025, the “Regional Lighthouse Access Call” is the first of its kind to offer free access to such a diverse portfolio of European research infrastructures, including research vessels, mobile and fixed marine observation platforms, aircraft, drones, satellites, experimental research facilities, river and basin supersites, and sophisticated data service infrastructures.
This is a unique opportunity for research scientists from academia, public bodies, industry or citizen science organisations to travel to and use these infrastructures, for free, to advance their marine and fresh water research, and support the goals of the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030.
Don’t miss this opportunity to advance your marine and freshwater research!
